Terrain Vague

*Terrain Vague* is an installation composed of a transparent negative image placed between two painted glass panels, set within a structure that allows for multiple viewing angles. The glass, partially covered in color, conceals most of the landscape, offering only visible fragments and preventing a complete view.  The work reflects on cultural and cognitive change, revealing how our gaze collapses within technological devices that fragment our attention. The glass becomes a metaphor for this interaction—a screen that simultaneously hides and reveals—challenging the viewer to question what is visible and what remains concealed. The transparency of the image invites a visual crossing, encouraging the viewer to engage physically with the work. This process reduces redundant visual elements, making space for imagination and perceptual multiplicity. *Terrain Vague* thus explores not only visual perception but also the way technology shapes and fragments our experience of the world.
