Aria di Vetro
The glass stands like a screen between the viewer and the image, allowing only fragments of a landscape—distorted by infinite reflections of light—to emerge. The work is created through the layering of a painted glass panel and a cyanotype, a printing technique that relies on sunlight; separating them would alter the perception of the image. The glass becomes a metaphor for our relationship with technological devices, which offer us only glimpses of reality while obscuring the rest. This fragmentation challenges our understanding of the world and raises questions about the elusive images we observe.
